0 CVE-2026-64941 is an open redirect vulnerability in phoenixframework's phoenix_live_view component. The vulnerability arises because the redirect/2 function improperly validates the :to parameter, allowing ASCII tab, LF, or CR characters that browsers strip before URL parsing. This enables attackers to redirect users to arbitrary external sites. The issue affects multiple versions before fixed releases and has a low CVSS score indicating limited impact. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in phoenixframework phoenix_live_view versions from 1.2.2 before 1.2.7. The issue arises because URL scheme validation incorrectly treats inputs starting with ASCII control characters or spaces as safe relative paths. This allows an attacker to craft URLs with leading spaces that bypass validation and execute JavaScript in a victim's browser when clicked. Applications rendering user-supplied URLs via <.link href={...}> are affected. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 07/13/2026, 18:04:30 UTC Added: 07/13/2026, 18:33:23 UTC |
