0 scalar/astro version 0.1.13 contains a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the scalar_url query parameter of the Scalar Proxy endpoint. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to make the backend server send HTTP requests to attacker-controlled URLs. Exploitation can lead to exposure of authentication cookies and headers, potentially enabling privilege escalation. The vulnerability has a critical severity with a CVSS score of 9.8. No patch or official remediation guidance is currently available, and no known exploits in the wild have been reported.
