Vita3K versions before build 4187 have a path traversal (zip slip) vulnerability in the install_archive_content() function. This flaw allows attackers to craft .vpk archive files with malicious path entries containing '..' segments or absolute paths, enabling them to write files outside the intended install directory. Such unauthorized file writes can lead to execution of attacker-controlled code on the host system. The vulnerability has a medium severity rating with a CVSS score of 5.5. No official patch links are provided, and no known exploits are reported in the wild. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 10/18/2026, 15:30:29 UTC Added: 10/18/2026, 16:36:00 UTC |
