Apache Lucene.Net versions from 4.8.0-beta00005 through 4.8.0-beta00017 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the Lucene.Net.Replicator library. This vulnerability allows improper limitation of pathnames to restricted directories, potentially enabling unauthorized access to filesystem locations. The issue is fixed in version 4.8.0-beta00018.

Apache Lucene.Net.Replicator versions from 4.8.0-beta00005 before 4.8.0-beta00018 contain a path traversal vulnerability (CWE-22) that improperly limits pathname access to restricted directories. This vulnerability allows an attacker to potentially access files outside the intended directory scope. The issue is fixed in version 4.8.0-beta00018. The vulnerability has a high severity with a CVSS score of 8.9.
