0 CVE-2026-70495 is a high-severity vulnerability in Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes 2.11 involving improper privilege management in the search-v2-operator component. The search-serviceaccount has overly broad permissions that allow it to impersonate any user or group cluster-wide. An attacker who gains access to any pod running under this service account can escalate privileges to system:masters, gaining full control over the Kubernetes cluster. Red Hat has not provided an official fix or patch for this issue yet, citing challenges in mitigation applicability and stability. Users should monitor Red Hat advisories for updates and consider compensating controls until a fix is available.
