Apache APISIX version 3.17.0 contains an Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity vulnerability that allows an unauthenticated attacker to cause a CPU exhaustion denial-of-service (DoS) condition. This occurs specifically in graphql-limit-count routes where a single small request can cause a gateway worker to consume 100% CPU for an extended period. The issue is fixed in version 3.18.0.
