GHSA-xvq9-4vpv-227m: Nginx-UI vulnerable to arbitrary file write through the Import Certificate featureCVE-2024-23827
0

The Import Certificate feature in github.com/0xJacky/Nginx-UI allows arbitrary file write due to lack of validation on user-supplied file paths. This enables an attacker to write files to arbitrary locations on the system. A proof of concept demonstrates writing files to /tmp and overwriting the application configuration file app.ini, potentially leading to remote code execution by changing the StartCmd parameter. No patch or official fix information is currently provided.
