Red Hat Security Advisory: OpenShift Container Platform 4.16.14 security updateCVE-2024-3727 0 Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4. 16. 14 includes a security update addressing three vulnerabilities: CVE-2024-3727, where the containers/image digest type does not guarantee a valid type; CVE-2024-24786, an infinite loop in golang-protobuf's protojson. Unmarshal when processing certain invalid JSON; and CVE-2024-43803, where the Bare Metal Operator can expose specifically named secrets from other namespaces via the Bare Metal Host Custom Resource Definition. These issues have been rated with a moderate security impact by Red Hat. Users of OpenShift Container Platform 4. 16 are advised to upgrade to the updated packages and images provided in this release to remediate these vulnerabilities.
