A low severity vulnerability (CVE-2024-46792) in the Linux kernel's RISC-V architecture was resolved. The issue involved raw_copy_to_user and raw_copy_from_user functions not calling access_ok(), which allowed userspace to access any virtual memory address improperly. This vulnerability could lead to limited unauthorized read access to kernel memory. The vulnerability has been fixed in the Linux kernel.
