A potential NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/mediatek driver was resolved. The issue occurs in the mtk_crtc_destroy() function when a cleanup call to cmdq_pkt_destroy() is made without verifying if the cmdq_client channel pointer is NULL. This can happen if mbox_request_channel() fails during mtk_crtc_create(), leading to a NULL pointer dereference during cleanup.
