Red Hat has released a security advisory for kernel updates addressing multiple vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel used in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.6 Extended Update Support and related products. The update includes fixes for several security issues such as symbolic link size checks in Squashfs, race conditions in Bluetooth SCO connections, use-after-free vulnerabilities in Bluetooth and IPv6 components, and validation errors in cryptographic components. The advisory also includes various bug fixes and enhancements. A system reboot is required after applying the update for changes to take effect.
