A vulnerability in the Linux kernel Bluetooth driver (btusb) was resolved by reverting the use of devm_kzalloc for memory allocation. The issue involved tying the lifetime of btusb data to a single interface, which could lead to use-after-free errors when other interfaces were still using the data. This flaw could cause system instability or crashes. The vulnerability has a high severity score and affects multiple Linux kernel versions prior to specific 5.15.x releases.
