Nodemailer versions before 10.0.6 have a denial of service vulnerability due to a regex pattern in the addressparser free-text fallback that causes quadratic backtracking. This can be exploited by attackers supplying crafted email header values with long whitespace-free runs, blocking the Node.js event loop and causing service unavailability.
