CVE-2026-14440: Vulnerability in Cloudflare Universal SSLCVE-2026-14440 0 CVE-2026-14440 is a vulnerability in Cloudflare's Universal SSL feature where the automatic management of CAA DNS records supersedes stricter customer-configured CAA records that use RFC 8657 parameters. This results in the failure to enforce account-binding and validation-method-binding protections end-to-end. Exploitation could allow an attacker to obtain a browser-trusted TLS certificate for the affected domain, enabling man-in-the-middle attacks. Exploitation is complex due to the need for control over an ACME account at an authorized CA and passing multi-perspective domain validation. Customers requiring strict enforcement must disable Universal SSL. Certificate Transparency monitoring is recommended.
