It allows an authenticated user or an unauthenticated attacker with physical access to bypass UEFI Secure Boot validation by exploiting memory write commands available in the UEFI Shell. This can lead to execution of unauthorized software by manipulating UEFI memory variables during boot. The vulnerability affects multiple specific versions of Cisco Enterprise NFV Infrastructure Software. No official patch or remediation guidance is currently confirmed.
