A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's libceph component could cause a NULL pointer dereference in the free_choose_arg_map() function when partial memory allocation fails. This issue has been resolved in updated kernel versions. The flaw could lead to a denial of service due to kernel crash. Multiple Linux kernel subsystems were also fixed in related updates.
