A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Tegra crypto driver caused asynchronous algorithms to be incorrectly marked, leading to crashes when synchronous algorithms were requested. This issue has been fixed by properly setting the CRYPTO_ALG_ASYNC flag and cleaning up unnecessary flags. The vulnerability affects multiple specific versions of the linux-hwe-edge kernel prior to 7.0.0-1006.6. A patch is available to resolve this issue.
