0 OpenClaw CLI versions up to 2026.2.15 are vulnerable to a path traversal issue in the config $include directive, allowing arbitrary local file reads outside the intended config directory. This can expose sensitive local files readable by the OpenClaw process user, such as secrets and credentials. The vulnerability requires the attacker to have the ability to modify the OpenClaw configuration or create symlinks within the config directory. The issue is patched in version 2026.2.17.
