These flaws can lead to heap corruption or disclosure of confidential information when processing specially crafted NTFS images. The vulnerabilities affect various functions including cat(), ntfs_ir_to_ib(), ntfs_decompress(), and others in the ntfs-3g and libntfs-3g binaries, some of which run with SUID-root privileges.
