CVE-2026-44510: CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read in RsyncProject rsyncCVE-2026-44510 0 CVE-2026-44510 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in rsync versions prior to 3.4.3. A malicious rsync server can cause any rsync client pulling from it to crash by exploiting a flaw in the recv_files() function. The attack requires no special client options and works with standard recursive pulls. The vulnerability results in a crash (segmentation fault) due to reading invalid memory, but it does not allow code execution or data corruption. This issue is fixed in rsync version 3.4.3.
