When the JAIL_AT_DESC flag is specified, kern_jail_set() and kern_jail_get() released the reference to the caller's current prison before looking up… (CVE-2026-49419)CVE-2026-49419 0 CVE-2026-49419 is a vulnerability in the kern_jail_set() and kern_jail_get() functions where the JAIL_AT_DESC flag causes a reference count underflow on the prison structure. This occurs because the reference to the caller's current prison is released twice if the jail descriptor lookup fails. An unprivileged local user can trigger this flaw, potentially causing a kernel panic on the jail host or privilege escalation if exploited from within a jail.
