CVE-2026-49978: CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in cure53 DOMPurifyCVE-2026-49978 0 DOMPurify versions prior to 3.4.7 contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability where the IN_PLACE sanitization method can skip shadow DOM contents inside <template>.content. This allows attacker-controlled markup such as event handlers, JavaScript URLs, or scripts to persist and execute when sanitized templates are cloned and inserted.
