0 pnpm versions prior to 10.34.0 and 11.4.0 contain a vulnerability in the patch application pipeline that allows an attacker to write or delete arbitrary files via malicious patch files with path traversal sequences. This occurs because the patch application does not validate file paths extracted from .patch files, enabling directory traversal outside the package directory during pnpm install. The vulnerability is fixed in versions 10.34.0 and 11.4.0. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/13/2026, 17:28:25 UTC Added: 10/04/2026, 21:10:08 UTC |
