@angular/service-worker: Request Credential & Cache Policy Stripping (CVE-2026-50184)CVE-2026-50184 0 A vulnerability in the @angular/service-worker package causes the service worker to strip explicit client-defined request credentials and cache policies during request reconstruction. This results in the browser sending credentials like cookies or authorization headers on requests where the client intended to omit them, potentially exposing session information. Additionally, private or non-cacheable resources may be cached, leading to persistent access to sensitive data after logout. Applications using affected versions of @angular/service-worker with active service workers and asset group patterns matching dynamic endpoints are vulnerable. Patches are available in versions 19.2.23 and later. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 06/15/2026, 17:13:05 UTC Added: 07/16/2026, 10:36:00 UTC |
