CVE-2026-50280: CWE-284: Improper Access Control in craftcms cmsCVE-2026-50280 0 Craft CMS versions 5.0.0-RC1 up to but not including 5.9.21 contain an improper access control vulnerability in the EntriesController::actionMoveToSection() endpoint. This flaw allows a low-privileged authenticated control-panel user to move an entry into a section where they have read but not write permissions, bypassing intended section-level authorization. The issue breaks editorial boundaries and approval workflows by permitting unauthorized content injection into protected sections. The vulnerability has been fixed in version 5.9.21.
