The issue arises because the bus match() callback is called without holding the device lock, leading to unsafe access to the driver_override field. This vulnerability could allow an attacker with local privileges to cause high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The fix involves proper locking handled internally by the driver-core infrastructure. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 06/24/2026, 18:32:48 UTC Added: 07/23/2026, 22:52:01 UTC |
