A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the Linux kernel's fastrpc component due to a race condition between fastrpc_device_release() and a workqueue processing DSP responses. When a user closes the file descriptor, the fastrpc_user structure may be freed while an in-flight DSP invocation schedules cleanup work that accesses the freed structure. This can lead to dereferencing freed memory during buffer freeing, map freeing, or lock acquisition operations within the fastrpc context.
