In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/ras: Fix NULL deref in ras_core_ras_interrupt_detected() Fixes a NULL pointer dereference when ras_core is NULL and ras_core->dev is accessed in the error path. Reported by: Dan Carpenter <[email protected]> Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 06/26/2026, 21:32:17 UTC Added: 07/06/2026, 23:02:21 UTC |
A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/amd/ras component was fixed, addressing a flaw where ras_core could be NULL and accessed improperly. This issue was resolved in Linux kernel versions 7.0.0 and later. The vulnerability has a medium severity score and does not impact confidentiality or integrity but can cause denial of service via system crash. Multiple Linux kernel security issues were addressed in the same update, including fixes for AMD Zen 2 processor resource isolation. The vendor has released patches for affected versions and recommends updating and rebooting to apply fixes.
