GHSA-6w3p-w4p9-rj2hCVE-2026-53327 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel related to the debugobjects subsystem has been resolved. The issue involves the fill_pool() function being called when the current task is blocked on a priority inheritance lock (pi_blocked_on), which causes an assertion failure in real-time (RT) enabled kernels. This occurs because a task can only block on one lock to maintain the integrity of the priority inheritance chain. The fix prevents fill_pool() from being called if the current task is blocked on such a lock. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/01/2026, 15:35:18 UTC Added: 07/04/2026, 22:34:31 UTC |
