0 CVE-2026-55090 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Etherpad prior to version 3.3.0. It arises from improper HTML attribute escaping when interpolating values from the exportHtmlAdditionalTagsWithData plugin hook into span data attributes. This allows a pad editor to inject attacker-controlled values that execute as script when the HTML export is opened. The issue is fixed in Etherpad version 3.3.0.
