0 A privilege escalation vulnerability exists in shopper/framework's Livewire admin components where actions gated only by the 'view_users' permission allow unauthorized state changes. This enables users with limited permissions to escalate privileges by granting themselves additional permissions, creating new admin users, or deleting roles and permissions. The issue affects versions from 2.8.0 up to but not including 2.9.2. A patch is available that corrects authorization checks to require the 'access_setting' permission instead of 'view_users'.
