A NULL pointer bug in the Linux kernel's drm/amdkfd component was fixed in the svm_range_set_attr function. The issue arises because process_info could be NULL if the user does not call kfd_ioctl_acquire_vm before kfd_ioctl_svm. This vulnerability has been resolved by a patch that corrects this behavior.
