A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Thunderbolt property handling was resolved, where an integer overflow in tb_property_entry_valid() allowed a malicious XDomain peer to bypass validation checks. This flaw could lead to reading memory beyond intended bounds, potentially leaking kernel memory contents via sysfs attributes. The issue affects Linux Azure kernel versions prior to certain 7.0.0 builds. A patch is available to fix this vulnerability.
