In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix potential deadlock in write-through mode Fix… (CVE-2026-64062)CVE-2026-64062 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfs subsystem involving a potential deadlock in write-through mode has been resolved. The issue was due to improper handling in netfs_advance_writethrough(), which could cause a deadlock by premature writeback during folio processing. The fix ensures the folio is always unlocked and marked dirty appropriately, preventing deadlocks related to mmapped reads and writes. The vulnerability does not have a CVSS score or known exploits in the wild. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/19/2026, 18:31:51 UTC Added: 07/19/2026, 19:38:17 UTC |
