In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/adm1266) reject short block-read responses in the GPIO accessors… (CVE-2026-64083)CVE-2026-64083 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's hwmon subsystem (pmbus/adm1266 driver) allows kernel stack memory to be leaked to userspace due to improper handling of short block-read responses in GPIO accessors. The functions adm1266_gpio_get() and adm1266_gpio_get_multiple() do not verify the length of data returned by i2c_smbus_read_block_data(), potentially exposing uninitialized stack memory when 0- or 1-byte responses occur.
