A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AMD GPU display driver (drm/amd/display) was resolved by validating the GPIO pin LUT table size before iterating over entries. The flaw allowed out-of-bounds reads if the VBIOS reported a larger structure size than the actual mapped data. This issue has been fixed by ensuring the full claimed structure size is validated before processing. The vulnerability affects multiple linux-azure kernel versions prior to specific fixed releases. A patch is available and should be applied to mitigate the risk. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/20/2026, 00:00:00 UTC Added: 07/19/2026, 19:38:17 UTC |
