The issue occurs because the completion tasklet is not properly killed after the controller stop completes, allowing interrupt handlers to requeue the tasklet and potentially access freed memory. This can lead to dereferencing invalid pointers during device removal or unload. The fix ensures the tasklet is killed only after the source of scheduling is fully quiesced to prevent race conditions.
