A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's arm_ffa firmware driver has been resolved. The issue involved the bus match callback assuming every FF-A driver provides a non-NULL id_table and dereferencing it without checks. This could lead to a crash of the bus if a buggy client driver registers without an id_table. The fix enforces the presence of a valid id_table at driver registration time to prevent such crashes.
