The index is masked to a range of 0..127, but the array it indexes holds only 32 entries, leading to potential memory corruption when indices 32 through 127 are used. This can be triggered by malicious or counterfeit devices sending crafted status reports. The issue has been resolved by rejecting out-of-range indices and properly bounding the index against the array size.
