In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommufd: Break the loop on failure in iommufd_fault_fops_read() On a… (CVE-2026-64290)CVE-2026-64290 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's iommufd component causes an infinite loop on copy_to_user() failure during fault handling, leading to 100% CPU usage while holding a mutex. The issue occurs because only the inner loop breaks on failure, but the outer loop continues retrying indefinitely. This has been resolved by adding a break for the outer loop upon failure detection.
