In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hfs/hfsplus: fix u32 overflow in check_and_correct_requested_length… (CVE-2026-64361)CVE-2026-64361 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's HFS/HFS+ filesystem code was resolved by fixing a 32-bit unsigned integer overflow in the function check_and_correct_requested_length. The overflow occurs when adding offset and length values, causing an incorrect bounds check that can lead to out-of-bounds memory access. The fix involves using 64-bit arithmetic to prevent the wraparound. No CVSS score is available for this issue.
