In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix query directory replay double-free A response-bearing attempt… (CVE-2026-64387)CVE-2026-64387 0 A double-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel SMB client was resolved. The issue occurs when a response-bearing attempt returns a replayable error and frees its response buffer. If SMB2_query_directory_init() fails before the next send, cleanup incorrectly frees the previous response buffer again due to stale bookkeeping.
