In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: qat - fix VF2PF work teardown race in adf_disable_sriov() The VF2PF… (CVE-2026-64438)CVE-2026-64438 0 A use-after-free vulnerability was identified and resolved in the Linux kernel's crypto qat driver related to the VF2PF interrupt handler. The flaw involved a race condition during teardown in adf_disable_sriov() where per-VF state pointers could be dereferenced after being freed, causing potential kernel crashes when KASAN is enabled. The fix introduced a PF-local flag to synchronize interrupt masking and workqueue flushing before freeing resources, preventing use-after-free conditions.
