In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI/IOV: Skip VF Resizable BAR restore on read error… (CVE-2026-64460)CVE-2026-64460 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's PCI/IOV subsystem was resolved that involved improper handling of VF Resizable BAR Control register reads. When a device does not respond to configuration reads, the code could index out of bounds on an array, potentially causing a kernel error. The fix ensures that if a read returns an error response, the restoration process bails out safely without accessing invalid memory. This issue was observed on an NVIDIA RTX PRO 1000 GPU during a failed power state exit. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/25/2026, 12:31:36 UTC Added: 07/25/2026, 23:08:56 UTC |
