Userspace is expected to clear freeze listeners before dropping the node reference count to zero, but this is not enforced, causing freeze listeners to remain registered even after the associated reference is gone. This can lead to a memory leak due to a reference count cycle. The issue has been resolved by ensuring the freeze listener is removed when the node is removed.
