In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ACPI: NFIT: core: Fix possible NULL pointer dereference After commit… (CVE-2026-64511)CVE-2026-64511 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ACPI NFIT core component could lead to a NULL pointer dereference. This occurs when the NFIT notify handler is installed before verifying the presence of the NFIT table, potentially causing a NULL pointer dereference if a specific notification is triggered without the NFIT table being present. The issue was fixed by adding a NULL check in the notification handler function. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/25/2026, 12:31:38 UTC Added: 07/25/2026, 23:08:54 UTC |
