The function find_one_sb_stid() skips certain state IDs based on status, but the relevant case in nfsd4_revoke_states() did not set this status before calling nfsd4_close_layout(), resulting in a retry loop that repeatedly processes the same state ID and causes the revoker to hang indefinitely.
