In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_fs: initialize reset_work at allocation time ffs_fs_kill_sb()… (CVE-2026-64594)CVE-2026-64594 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's USB gadget function filesystem (functionfs) was resolved by ensuring that the reset_work structure is properly initialized at allocation time. Previously, reset_work was only initialized under certain deactivation conditions, leading to a potential kernel warning or instability when cancel_work_sync() was called on an uninitialized work struct during unmounting. This fix initializes reset_work at allocation to prevent such issues. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/06/2026, 09:30:33 UTC Added: 08/06/2026, 18:17:04 UTC |
