FFmpeg versions 0.6.3 through 8.1.2 contain an infinite loop vulnerability in the RTP/ASF demuxer. This flaw occurs in the rtp_asf_fix_header function, which fails to validate a minimum chunk size when processing ASF objects. An attacker can exploit this by sending a crafted RTP/ASF stream that causes the loop pointer to stall, resulting in CPU exhaustion and denial of service.
