This occurs because the parser does not properly validate the descriptor length before accessing the GUID field. A local attacker with a malicious USB video camera can exploit this flaw during camera stream setup, potentially causing a denial of service. The vulnerability has a low severity rating and a CVSS score of 2.1. No known exploits are reported in the wild. No patch information is currently provided.
